I trusted the Lord as my Savior as a child and dedicated my life to Him while in college. It was during that time that I met my husband, Dan. We married in 1973 and moved to Rochester, NY, where I taught 2 years in a Christian school. Our son, Scott, was born in Rochester and we moved back to NJ a few months before our twins, Sarah and Debby where born. All three of our children attended Bethel Baptist Christian School and graduated from Baptist High School. We are very thankful that they are all in full-time Christian service today. The remaining fifteen years of my teaching opportunities have been at BBCS and BHS.

Classes Taught

7th Grade Math—Basic math skills will be reviewed and reinforced throughout the year, building on knowledge from previous years. Pre-algebra will also be studied along with units on geometry and measurement.
7th Grade Social Studies—Students will study geography with emphasis on maps, culture, economic systems, natural resources, governments, and climates around the world.
7th Grade Bible - Students' study involves a brief survey of the Old and New Testament.
8th Grade Bible - Students will explore the book of Proverbs and discover what God's Word has to say about their relationships with authority, family, friends, and God.
Computer Technology—Students will begin to develop a portfolio of projects that are designed to prepare them in today’s world of technology. During the course of the year, projects will be assigned that will integrate the curriculum being presented in some of their other courses.
