I was raised in the Roman Catholic Church. At the age of 17 God saved me. I served 4 years in the U.S. Coast Guard before beginning my career as a Respiratory Therapist. I was married in May, 1972. When God called me into Christian education I returned to college to complete my degree, then on to Bible College to obtain a Bible certificate. My wife and I then served under ABWE as teachers to missionary kids in both Japan and Portugal.

Classes Taught

Biology—Basic knowledge of microbiology, botany, and zoology. Origin of life is discussed. Major project is preparation for the science fair.

Chemistry—History of chemistry; origin and use of the periodic chart, atomic theory, and various types of chemical reactions. Major project is preparation for the science fair.

Physics—Uses mathematics to study forces and their applications in life. Also studies the nature of light, sound, and electricity. Major events include Mousetrap Vehicle, construction and testing of a bridge, Physics Day at Great Adventure, and construction and reporting of a machine and the physics involved in its operation.

Human Anatomy & Physiology—Studies the structure and function of all the systems of the human body.
