I was born into a Christian family and accepted God’s gift of salvation as my own when I was 5 years old. I grew up at Haddon Heights Baptist Church where I was baptized at the age of 12. During my high school years I had the privilege of teaching God’s Word to a group of girls at John 5:24 Mission in Philadelphia. God used that experience to direct me into education. After graduation from Haddon Heights High School, I attended Cedarville College. I met my husband, Pat, while I was teaching in the public school system. We have two children, Christine ('89) and PJ ('93), both of whom attended BBCS as well as graduated from BHS. My daughter and her husband, John Carter ('85) have one son, John, who is in 3rd grade at BRS.
