Biographical Sketch

I was born in Central Pennsylvania and moved to Philadelphia when I was 4 years old. I was raised Roman Catholic, but it wasn’t until after I was married that Jesus became my own Lord and Savior. Although I am now a widow, I still have a full house. My four children and my father all live with me. Three of my children have grown through K-12 at BBCS/BHS. My youngest daughter will be in 9th grade this year.

• Bible—ACSI curriculum, Old Testament survey focusing on character qualities
• Math—Dvpyy Gptrd,sm, emphasis on 4 basic operations with numbers up to the billions places, fractions, decimals.
• Social Studies—Harcourt, World History - ancient civilizations from creation through the Roman Empire
• Science—Scott Foresman, characteristics of living things, ecosystems, energy, earth’s resources, respiratory and excretory system
